I have tried everything in your article, I have a laptop, Lenovo G570 Windows 7 x64 running IE11, upgraded from IE10, same issue. If I do not run IE without “Run as Administrator”, it is extremely slow, the circle of death run round and eventually you get to the page, in the application event log you receive event 1000 and 1001, fault bucket errors, appcrash errors, and . I have checked using four different malware and rootkit programs, it is clean. If I run as an administrator, no errors and runs fine. Next I will downgrade to IE9 or even IE8, or my last choice is a total reload of Windows. I have many years of IT experience being an IT manager, but this one is kicking me a bit, thanks for any suggestion.
Thanks for this review. I found it while searching for alternatives to GoDaddy. I by proxy started using GoDaddy back when I first began Web Development. I currently have several websites hosted with GoDaddy. But as of today, the straw finally broke, wait..no, the straw SMASHED the camels back. GoDaddy’s Level 1 hosting resources won’t support even the very basic of a WordPress site. I’m getting resource limit errors out the roof. Of course the Hosting Technician I spoke with could only offer increasing the Level up to 2, but at an additional cost. As of late most issues I have I have to eventually figure out on my own because their support technicians are reluctant to offer much advice past the scripted responses you can find in their Help area. GoDaddy is continually costing me wasted time trying to fix their problems and making me look bad for originally recommending them to clients. I’m on HostGator’s site right now in the process of signing up for a plan to move my own website and domain over onto.
Bottom line to everyone, GoDaddy has outgrown their capabilities and quality has gone out the window.
